Selfishness is the blade that cuts us apart as Iraqis

Directly to the point.
What separates Iraqis are 3 thing:
1- Saddam Hussain , between an angel and a devil.
2- Religions "Gods chosen people" and the invalid valuation of other religions.
3- Sectarian claims of holding the right teaching of the religion.

Let's get to the chase

1- Just because you didn't face any kind of oppression under Saddam's time, it doesn't mean he was an angel! That's is selfish of you not to feel for the thousands of innocents lives he ordered to kill / was responsible for killing. If we think about what others had faced during his regime we will pass this point! That being said there Is a wide sector of Iraqis thinks that Saddam didn't hurt someone so that someone must be a Saddamist ! That is stupid, we all suffered from Saddam, some made it work others weren't so much lucky. That been said, there is one last most important thing to address. Neo-Saddamists, those are the most dangerous threat to our society. They denounce what Saddam did to them in the past yet do the same thing to Iraqis on daily bases to achieve the fairness they think should be imposed, and if they've been asked about why exactly they are acting this way, the hold the attitude of "hey Saddam did that to us so it's your time to suffer". If we can stop doing these stupid irrational things we would pass the point when we fight about a criminal dictator died many years ago! Because as long as I hail your killer and you hail my killer we will never unite.

2- There are many religions in Iraq : Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Mandaeism, Yazidi and Shabaks. In addition to some minority religious that I can't recall.
Everyone of them (and I am  generalizing and being not politically correct) in his teachings which are followed by Iraqis, consider themselves the one and only true religion and all the other religions are a hoax. The bigger the follower of one religion the more they control and minimize the rule of the other religions. The less followers of one religion the more peaceful the seems, but they all share the same ideology of being the true believers and others are infidels and must be killed and fought. This scenario happened through out the history of Mesopotamia. That it self is the top of the pyramid of selfishness. To claim the right of following one religion while deny the right of what others want to believe in and to call for the extension of those are not on your side of the religion. If we just could live in a CIVIL STATE where all are free to believe and practice their religion without harming other human beings, and ban those believes that calls for killing others to revive the words of god we would learn to love each others because we are different, not kill each other because we are different.

3- Same mentioned in number 2 for the following
A) Muslim : Sunni, Shia.
B) Christians : Chaldean Catholic,
Assyrian, Syriac Orthodox, Syriac Catholic, Armenian Apostolic, Armenian Catholic, Orthodox, Catholic Roman Catholic and Protestant.

Give it a rest will you? You all believe in God right? Why don't you focus on practicing your religion instead of trying to convert everyone else? Maybe let God decide at the judgment day which one of you was right? If you would just stop attacking each others believes for a start, things would workout just about fine! Don't be selfish, let other believe what they want the same way others let you believe in what you want

If our society comes across the selfishness of it's own formation, then we all as Iraqis will live the dream we always dream about.

Alot of Ifs, how many would do them?

Peace out
