Updated : 23 (21 After update) Listed Iraqi Companies suspended trading in ISX today!

Just the other day I wrote a brief introduction about the Iraqi Stock Exchange, Now it seems the proper time to make an update.

It appears that 23 companies has been suspended by the Iraq Securities Commission ISC according to the main ISX web portal. Some of these companies have failed to file 2010 annual reports. While Some other failed to file Q1 report for 2011 even after 60 days permit (Which is very generous because the had from 1 Jan - 1 June to do that)

-Iraqi Stock Exchange market ring its bells around 9:30 AM and ends at 12 AM (Baghdad zone time BZT).

- Iraqi Stock Exchange market lists 92 companies.85 of them listed electronically as they can be traded online too.

- Iraqi Stock Exchange index consists of  7 Sectors : Banks, Insurance, Investments, Services, Industry, Agriculture and Hotels & Tourism. The following is a detailed informations about the names and codes of each sector's companies.

Don'ts

Do not under any circumstance connect any thing you like or enjoy in life to someone, basically that someone is a mortal & flak-able object. If they leave for any reason, leaving trauma, sadness or misery, you automatically lose interest in that thing. Sometimes sharing is nice and sweet, but selfishness is useful most of the times.
